A. BIOGAS SOLUTION FOR POULTRY SECTOR

Over the past three decades, the poultry sector has been growing at more than 5 percent per annum and at present India produces about 6.25 to 8 million ton of poultry manure annually. Urja has focused and succeeded to remove those two extremely opposite nature impurities by providing suitable inbuilt design for biogas production.

B. BIOGAS SOLUTION FOR DAIRY SECTOR

Dairy Industry in India had a long historical tradition and world second largest milk producer. Livestock an importance source of manure for crop production and fuel for domestic use. It is a source of minimizing use of nonrenewable energy.

C. BIOGAS SOLUTION FOR MUNICIPAL WASTE/FOOD WASTE

Availability of the huge amount of waste and its potential for causing severe problems in our society make municipal solid waste an ideal feed stock for anaerobic biodegradation. Utilization of such amount of food waste for biogas generation is sustainable in order to reduce the waste management load on landfills.

D. BIOGAS FROM NAPIER GRASS

Napier grass, a tropical plant, can grow up in drought and dry conditions. Napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum) is one of the important renewable energy sources because it has high yield of biomass and bio-methane Napier grass contains 30.9% total carbohydrates, 27% protein, lipid 14.8%, total ash 18.2%, fiber 9.1% (dry weight).

E. BIOGAS FROM SLAUGHTER HOUSES

Slaughterhouse waste is a very energy-rich waste stream of the meat industry. The waste from slaughterhouses, cattle, pigs, chickens, etc., can be treated and used in digesters for the production of biogas and energy. This biogas plant can process all animal by-products which may not be further utilized such as blood, hind gut, stomach content and fat scrubber content.

F. BIOGAS FROM EFFLUENT AND SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT

Wastewater sludge management is environmental challenge for wastewater treatment sector. Biogas production is one of the solutions for handling this wastewater sludge.

G. BIOGAS FROM PRESS MUD

Press Mud is the waste by-product produced during sugar making from sugarcane is an ideal feedstock for bio-methanation. The conversion of Press-Mud into biogas also produces high quality organic-fertilizer, which can be used as a soil enricher and nutrient in agriculture. Farmer members of the sugar factory, other agricultural farmers and manure merchants/dealers can be benefited immensely by the continuous and assured supply of organic manure all through the year from this plant.

H. BIOGAS SOLUTION FOR GAUSHALA

All Gaushala are dependent on financial aid from government or on Donation to feed the cow. There is no sustainable income from dung and urine as they don’t process it due to lack of funding and technical support. By converting Dung and urine in to income through biogas production and biofertilizer all cow can get shelter and enough feed and this will help to reduce financial burden on gaushala. Also, this helps in managing waste generated by the cows while reducing odor and environmental pollution.

Biogas produced from cow dung can be used as a renewable energy source for cooking, heating, and lighting in the gaushala premises. This reduces dependency on fossil fuels and electricity, leading to cost savings and environmental benefits. Gaushala also generate additional income by selling surplus biogas or electricity generated from the biogas.
